Latest News and Info
Everyone is invited to the 2020-2021 Coweta Band Banquet! It will be held at the I-High Gym and entry will be $10. Help us celebrate our students!
Our products and procedures will be a bit altered for the time being. We will only be selling items that don't need preparation (drinks, candy, bags of chips, ...). All concession stand workers will be required to wear masks and gloves. We have also reduced the amount of workers in the concession stands so everyone can keep a proper distance.
We need at least one adult to sign up for every concession stand event. There are also spots for students. Students will earn an $8 credit that is applied to their band account for every hour they work in the concession stands. Adults will earn this same credit per hour and can designate which band student account they would like the credits applied to.
You must sign up for these concession stand shifts using our Charms calendar. Here are the instructions for signing up.
1. go to "www.charmsoffice.com"
2. click "login" in the upper right hand corner (parents, students, members)
3. enter "cowetabands" as the school code - you do not need to enter your name
4. click the calendar icon in the bottom left
5. find the event you wish to volunteer for and click the multi-colored hand icon
6. enter the needed info and click "sign up"

The program serves over 450 students ranging in grades from 6th - 12th. We are proud to offer concert band, marching band, and jazz band during the school day. Students also have many opportunities for individual growth in our chamber ensembles, at solo contest, and by auditioning for our district and state level honor bands.
The Band program needs your support. We are in need of funding to replace worn equipment and purchase new equipment to enhance our students' experience. Funding also assists with transportation to competitions and uniforms. This is all possible by our community who fully supports our Band programs.
The Band programs are successful due to our students' parents, grandparents, guardians, alumni and the community. Many opportunities to volunteer exist! Volunteer one time or as many as you can. You will truly enjoy working with the students, and supporting the Band.
